Needs Assessment

This step includes consultations, interviews and research to determine exactly where the gaps are in performance and what the correct learning solutions will be to address each gap.

Development

During this phase customized materials will be assembled. These may include: handouts, workbooks, manuals, PowerPoints, etc...

Delivery

Based on the situation, the most cost effective delivery of the training solution will be implemented. Examples include: conference calls, webinars, workshops, printed materials, eLearning courses.

Results Measurements

Complete measurements of the learning solutions are available based on Kirkpatrick's Four Levels of Learning. These typically take the form of evaluations and surveys of the learners and their supervisors.

• Level One (Reaction) - Did the participants like the training?
• Level Two (Learning) - Did they learn the desired new behaviors?
• Level Three (Behavior) - Are they demonstrating the new behaviors?
• Level Four (Results) - Have the new behaviors impacted the bottom line?
